Multi-island park with ranked beaches, the historic fort, and calm Gulf swimming. Beaches remain open, but road and trail paving continues into early 2027, so allow for construction inside the park.

Fort De Soto ferry trip to Egmont Key for beaches, Fort Dade ruins, wildlife, and optional snorkeling departures.

Protected barrier-island preserve with shelling and birdlife. There are no restrooms, dogs and alcohol are prohibited, the conservation core is closed, and overnight camping requires a permit.
