Art After Dark: Halloween Edition at the MFA 2026

A Halloween museum evening with gallery tours, live jazz and a mystery hunt; members and visitors 17 and younger enter free.

The Museum of Fine Arts opens for a Halloween edition of Art After Dark on October 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wear a Halloween look, explore the galleries and join docent tours of New African Masquerades, with a mystery hunt for younger visitors. Hot Tonic Orchestra supplies live jazz with Latin, funk and soul influences. Admission is $16 for nonmembers and free for MFA members and visitors age 17 and younger. Cafe Clementine also offers its evening food and drink program; do not treat those purchases as included admission. This is a museum social evening, not a haunted attraction.
