Holiday Harbour Tree Lighting

A floating 35-foot tree lights up as the mayor arrives by water taxi for Tampa's waterfront holiday kickoff.

The November 29 waterfront celebration runs 4-7 p.m. at Tampa Convention Center and The Sail Plaza. Tampa's mayor arrives by Pirate Water Taxi to light a 35-foot floating Christmas tree in the convention center basin and launch the Riverwalk's Holiday Spectacular. The organizer has not published a separate exact tree-lighting moment within that window; 4 p.m. is the celebration's opening time.
