The 23rd annual Plant City Pig Jam brings a KCBS-sanctioned barbecue competition, live entertainment, vendors and children's activities to 1401 Gordon Food Service Drive. Public hours are Friday 5-10 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Admission is $5; children age 6 and younger are admitted free. Food is purchased separately using Pig Bucks, exchanged for cash at booths near the entrance and around the grounds. Competition-team food purchases also support local high-school senior scholarships. Gate admission is not an all-you-can-eat ticket.
