QUALIFICATIONS
Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification AND registered nurse first assist (RNFA) certification required for APRNs to first assist in the Operating Room.
National certification is required for PAs.
Advanced Trauma Life Support is preferred. If this certification is not obtained prior to employment, it is required by 6 months of employment.
Experience in trauma, emergency medicine or surgical field preferred.
Extremely motivated new graduates may be considered for a position in our APP fellowship program to support their transition to practice.
