The 3S PCU Medical Neuro team at AdventHealth Tampa offers a Clinical Transition Pathway for experienced RNs who are ready to grow their practice and transition into higher-acuity patient care.
Whether you’re currently working in Med-Surg or another nursing specialty, this pathway is designed to help you build on your existing clinical foundation while developing the skills and confidence needed to care for complex medical and neurological patients. Prior PCU or Neuro experience is not required.

Who Should Apply:
We welcome Med-Surg nurses and RNs from other clinical specialties who are interested in advancing their practice and exploring higher-acuity care.
Candidates should have at least 10 months of nursing experience, including 6 months of independent practice following orientation or residency, demonstrate strong clinical performance, and have a commitment to continued learning and professional growth.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG (based on patient ; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Pay Range:
