JOB SUMMARY
Performs food preparation and cooking tasks, ensuring quality food production. Guides junior staff, provides
training, and ensures adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Handles inventory, orders supplies,
and assists in menu planning and recipe development. Handles customer service issues, ensuring satisfaction.
Maintains records, conducts health and safety compliance checks, and supports kitchen management in
optimizing operations. Responsible for operating cash registers accurately and efficiently.

• Trains junior staff on kitchen procedures and safety protocols.
• Assists in planning menus and developing recipes.
• Provides operational support to kitchen management, helps to streamline processes.
• Maintains records of food temperatures, inventory levels, and other important data.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and audits.
• Operate cash register/POS system accurately for all transactions
• Process customer purchases efficiently while providing courteous and professional service.

Requirements
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality
• Navigate rapidly changing situations, from evolving patient needs to technological advancements, by remaining
flexible, continuously learning, embracing new challenges, and quickly recovering from setbacks.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Collaborates with others to solve moderately complex technical challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and self-directed to consistently ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Salary Range: Minimum 16.25/hour - Maximum 25.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
