Watch ten locally made horror, science fiction and experimental shorts at the ArtsXchange. Arrive at 7 p.m. for installations, food and a costume contest; screenings begin at 8:30, followed by filmmaker questions at 10. Eugenie Bondurant hosts. The films are unrated and become scarier after intermission. Advance admission is $15, or $10 for WADA members, before October 30; the organizer lists $20 walk-up tickets on the day, subject to availability. Food and drinks are separate purchases.
